Randy served in the US Army for 6 years as a Combat Medic and had been deployed to Vietnam. After leaving the military, Randy spent 25 years in Law Enforcement. After retiring he relocated to Northern California and became involved with Sacramento Stand Down in 1995 and has been serving on the board and as a volunteer since that time.
James served in the Air Force (active and reserve) for 34 years. James was both enlisted and an officer, worked at various positions and retired in 2004 as a Lt Col out of Air Operations. After retiring, James has continued to serve the community through the American Legion and is presently the 1st Vice Commander of District 6 covering Posts in both Sacramento and Yolo counties. James became involved with Sacramento Stand Down in 2017 and is presently serving as their Treasurer.
Donlea became involved as a volunteer with Sacramento Stand Down approximately 24 years ago through her involvement with her son’s Boy Scout Troop. Donlea has held the positions of Volunteer Coordinator and Vice President. As a volunteer and Board member Donlea has acted as liaison to Sacramento County Municipal and Superior Courts and coordinated Court services offered to the homeless veterans during our Three-Day annual event. .
Board Member Emeritus
E.J. “Bud” Lee is a Vietnam Veteran and joined the Sacramento Stand Down in 2009. Bud spent over 40 years working in the health services community and in 2000, the Governor of California appointed Bud to serve as the Chief Deputy Director of Statewide Health Planning and Development where he remained until retiring in 2004. In 2016 he was elevated to the association’s first Board Member Emeritus.
